Introduction

Lawrence Kohlberg (1927-1987) was an American psychologist who, after completing high school, was enlisted in the merchant navy which travels around the world for various missions. During that time, in Second World War, Kohlberg helped to transport Jews from Europe to Palestine. Then he went back to America and studied in Chicago, which earned him the title of Bachelor of Arts and a doctorate in philosophy.
