Introduction

A business cannot claim to be ethical firm if it ignores unethical practices by its suppliers for example the use of child labor and forced labor, sweatshops, violations of the basic rights of workers and ignoring the health, safety and environmental standards for its employees. As far back as I can remember a major ethical problem that I have seen in the business world is the use of child labor in major businesses such as Nike and Levi's Jeans Company to name a few (Alexander, L., 2012).
