Introduction

The present and future without any doubts belongs to the telecommunication sector. The telephony concept has changed these days. Now if anybody gives you his contact number due to any reasons, then this contact number must be his cell's number. The recent emergence of mobile phones have diminished or in other words ended the concept of landline telephones. Now VoIP and cellular communications have taken the charge. Now most of the voice communication is going on by using mobile phones. Mobile phones also branded as wireless or cellular phones are short range, electronic devices used specifically for voice and data communication. These devices are specifically connected to specialized base stations or cell sites. Besides their regular function of voice communication, current mobile phones also provide us large number of tools and accessories. It includes text messaging or SMS, gaming, packet switching for access to the Internet, email, infrared/Bluetooth connectivity, camera with video recorder and MMS for sending and receiving photos and video (McLeese, 2009).

Mobile phones

The system of mobile modern is characterized by a structure based on the use of cells, and is known in fact as a cellular telephone .The radio waves are used to establish a communication between the device, is commonly called mobile phone and a radio base station, equipped with a number of cells, each with multiple channels. The cell phone uses the cells because radio frequencies are limited and must be shared among multiple users (Goggin, 2006).

The base station communicates with the public telephone network in various ways, depending on the availability of the network in optical fiber, cable copper or radio link. When the phone is too far removed from a base station, the system automatically searches for a cell nearest the communication takes place on this, without the interruption of the call (handover). The radio base stations and mobile phones use transmitters' radio low power so as to limit the interference and allow the use for more than one call from a number of users. The use of a very limited power allows also increasing the battery life and reducing possible negative effects of the emission of electromagnetic waves of a certain power (electromagnetic pollution). There are many standards for mobile phones, often incompatible with each other although they are used in the same country (Olejniczak, 2006).
