Introduction

The health care system of United States has recently developed 6 aims of improvement, which would ensure the delivery of quality health care services for all the American citizens. These aims include safety, effectiveness, patient's centeredness, timeliness, efficiency and equity (IOM, 2001). Various health care models have been designed to incorporate these aims.
