In this study we try to explore the concept of crisis intervention in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on models of crises intervention and its relation with cognitive models. The research also analyzes many aspects of crises intervention and tries comparing and contrasting its model with cognitive model. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for models of crises intervention and tries to describe the overall effect of crises intervention on human behavior.

Models of Crisis Intervention
Introduction
Crisis intervention is a form of psychological assistance (Kanel, 1999). The therapeutic focus on the problem causing the crisis, a person confronted with the crisis and its solutions (Kanel, 1999). Crisis intervention is an activity summary, short-term, which aims to provide immediate assistance to persons in crisis. The aid consists of short-term psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and legal aid, social, material and facilitating contacts with other institutions. The classic model of crisis intervention is to provide help in emotional support, building sense of security, and reducing anxiety (Kanel, 1999).
The crisis intervention, it is important empathetic, yet practical answer for the person in crisis (Kanel, 1999). It is important to the importance of the first interview, the therapist and the person in crisis and focus on the problem and setting goals. Crisis therapy aims to resolve the crisis reaching a critical understanding of the events (Regehr, 2001). Therefore, it is a realistic estimate of future possibilities, and finally the extraction of resources and willingness to face the future.
Crisis intervention refers to the methods used to provide immediate and short-term assistance to people experiencing an event that produces emotional, mental, physical and behavioral disorder (Regehr, 2001). The concept of crisis and crisis intervention more often score in the practice of psychology (Regehr, 2001). Therapists help people in difficult situations, consider that this is the best time to provide assistance and support. Such situations bring in the hoped for change and development (Regehr, 2001).
This model contains three different levels of intelligence. The first or lowest level allows for basic information retrieval that is optimized through dynamic links. The network can be queried using a query language and information that is directly identified can be retrieved. The dynamic links will then provide for query optimization by reducing search time. The linking mechanism works by linking nodes that are associated with each other through the use of the system (Lilienfeld, 2007). It is based on the stigmatic process of linking through experience, but it could also be called Hebbian.
This level of the model has been extensively tested and results show that it could reduce the number of nodes searched by 80 - 90% with a related depreciation in the quality of answer of only 5 - 10%. It has also been explained that the linking process is completely generic, relying only on the feedback of associated nodes (Lilienfeld, 2007).
