Introduction

The purpose of this evaluation is to determine the mental health history of the client named Ms. G. The client is suspected to have medical disorder because of the behavior exhibited by her during the investigation. The client Ms. G was charged with burglary. At the time of committing the crime, the client was intoxicated. When the police arrest her, they found drugs in her custody. The client was also combative at the time of the arrest. The police had to utilize the highest level of constraint in order to control her. According to the reports of the officer, the client was hyperactive and irrational when she got arrested. The hyperactivity and the behavior of the client at the time showed that she was not in control of her herself. The first observation made about the client was her intoxication state.

The suspect for the mental disorder or history of mental disorder occurred when the client started conversation. The client believed that the police officers were trying to poison her. The energy level of the client at the time of arrest were excessively high that showed that either she was under drugs or had some sort of mental impairment. The client claimed that she knew the mayor personally. The client refused any form of counseling. When the client was incarcerated for burglary charges, she initiated a hunger strike and also initiated other kinds of inappropriate behavior. The client had the belief that the police were attempting to kill her by poison. The client became paranoid during her incarceration.

The behavior of the client demonstrates that she has lost control of her expression. The behavior also shows that the client is facing any form of mental disorder because she is unable to think and act in an appropriate manner. The medical background of the client also shows that she had been facing troubles. The client lost her parents at an early age and since then she has been living on her own or she lives with her boyfriends to survive. The history of Ms. G also shows that she had been moving around the country.

The purpose of this evaluation is to determine whether the mental condition of the client allows her to ask for plea bargain or if she had a criminal record.

The case for Ms. G has been referred because her behavior and actions have made the authorities suspect that the client might be facing mental health issues.
