This paper will elaborate and highlight the importance or significance of social networks and mobile computing in today's emerging world. This paper will also highlight the use and indispensability of social networks and mobile computing in today's world. The efficiency as well as effectiveness of mobile based applications will also be assessed. This assessment will also focus on the effectiveness of mobile based applications which are available for capturing customer data and geolocation data (Wurdeman, 2012). This paper will also measure the advantages which the customers realized due to the capability of gaining access to their data with the help of mobile applications. Furthermore, this paper will analyze the challenges that come up while developing mobile applications due to the small size of the mobile screen. This paper will further suggest the device which will be efficiently supporting the platform such as iPad, iPhone, Android or Windows Phone. Moreover, the ways for the provision of high availability will also be the focus of the paper. In the end, the paper will discuss the issue of the high rate of mobile device's hacking. Recommendations for making mobile devices more protected and secure will also be available in the paper (Wurdeman, 2012).
