Abstract
In this study we try to explore the concept of warfare in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on wars that have occurred in historic times, based on Celtic and Anglo-Saxon philosophies and its relation with the kinds of victories and defeats that have resulted for different armies. The research also analyzes many aspects of warfare arising between the Confederate and the Northern militaries existing in the world and tries to gauge its effect on the armies, in terms of their success or failures. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for the otherwise wins and losses that occurred with adoption of individual philosophies and tries to describe the overall effect of Celtic and Anglo-Saxon philosophies on how we see warfare today.
