The giant store Recreational Equipment Inc (REI) is ranked 9th in the top listed company under the Fortune Magazine's Top 100 Companies to Work for 2011 (money.cnn, 2013). Founded in year 1938, the REI is today's considered as the large consumer corporation in the nation which having more than 2 million active members. In this paper, I will discuss the review about the open and closed system ad in later part of this paper I will critically analyze that whether Recreational Equipment Inc used open or closed system. I will also analyze the impact of using either system on the organizational goals.

Open and Closed System
