Metacognitive Strategies in Teaching Geology

Solving problems related to geology requires different cognitive strategies, many of which are distinctive to the geosciences. Most problems of geology involve interpreting, observing, and trying to create sense of critical collection of features which includes several geologic compositions in diverse or outcrop geologic divisions in landscape.
