ABSTRACT
The study is about the Memories, death and the contexts of life, what is their importance within the home, and how does an individual get attached to some objects and assets within their home. The study focuses on the case study of the lady named Theodora Metaxa. The life review approach to late life ego development is based on Erikson's insight that the approach of death will lead to despair unless the individual finds ways to affirm his or her sense of integrity. It is postulated that as life nears its end, a naturally occurring and universal life review process of reminiscence will be triggered. Ideally, this process leads to ego integrity by enabling a reorganization of past experiences that produces a new and more valid picture of one's life and results in ego qualities such as wisdom and serenity. Maladaptive manifestations of the life review, in contrast, include rigidity, intense guilt, obsession rumination, depression, and even suicide, and leave the individual stuck in despair. Butler argued that while personality predicts how one conducts one's life review, the review process itself is initiated by the abatement of one's life attachments and various psychological disruptions such as the death of a spouse and friends and one's own retirement.

INTRODUCTION
Background
This dissertation demonstrates the connections between a wonderful old lady with a strong character and the house which she lived her whole life. Attachment theory is a theory of emotions and interrelationships. In his theory of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud first pointed out that love originates in attachment to satisfiers of nourishment needs. The fear of losing such a figure evokes psychological anxiety and emotional pain, and it initiates a process of mourning (Rotella 2004, p.19). Post-Freudian theorist Naficy (2004) further developed research on attachment. His brilliant work, namely his attachment theory, became one of the most influential contributions in contemporary psychology for better understanding human behaviour. Attachment theory is a theory that emphasizes emotional connections.
The founder Naficy (2004), challenged the father of modem psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, by asserting that human emotional bonds, namely attachment, and the sense of love, security, and protection arising from it are as important as food ...
