SUBJECT: Progress report for on-site fitness center
All of our employers work a 12 hour shift schedule. The day shift times are from 4 am to 4 pm, and the night shift times are from 4 Pm to 4 am. These are long hours; hence by the end of the day, many of the employees are exhausted and are not eager to make that long drive to the gymnasium located on the other side of the base. Moreover, the gymnasium operating hours are from 8 am to 5 pm. Majority of the employees are not able to make it with their work schedule. Therefore, many of the employees are not working out like they wish too and preventing them from meeting the physical fitness standards. A fitness center on site will help our employees to start taking steps to being healthier and in tune with proper nutrients and exercise. A request for research into the project was submitted and accepted. This memorandum will provide a picture of the current status of the project. Because we have a large spare room that is not utilized, we are making use of the room with equipment similar to a tradition gym. The certain amount of money, we had received from the government to be spent on our squadron every fiscal year, is being brought into effective use in the development of the project.
