This memo tends to deal with the nature of the relation between the employees and the employer. However, to be more specific it tends to highlight the role of a manager in the context of the functioning of the organization. If the manager opts to be biased than the organization will fail to achieve its set goals and objectives.

Discussion

For any organization to achieve success and meet its set goals, a strong relation between the management and employers should be in place. Both tend to be interdependent, and none of the wings can perform in isolation in order to turn achieve success. However, there are various factors, which tend to, contribute in the development of a strong relation between the two wings of any organization. In order to establish, a strong relationship between the management and the employer both needs to know of their limitations (Koontz & Weihrich, 2007). It is vital for the interest of any organization because, by doing so; it will help both to mark of their areas and, therefore, the interference in each other's work. For any organization, to achieve success the employer and its management should be on the same page. Management is responsible to take actions that make it possible for employees to contribute their best to the objectives of the organization. Therefore, the role of management is pertinent to small and large firms ranging from profit to non-profit organizations to products and services sectors, as well. Today the managers are considered to be the backbone of an organization. They are responsible for five functions. They plan, organize, staff, lead and manage. Profit to non-profit organizations to products and services sectors (Witzel, 2004). Management in general tends to plays a vital role in the achievement of the goals of an organisation. It is the duty to reconcile individual goals with the objectives of the organization and is momentous for long-term success of organizations.

Manager also tends to plays a regulatory role; he communicates the vision of the organization to all employees. He ensures the effective flow of communication within the organization. On the other hand, situations may vary among different levels in organisations or different types of firms. The extent of authority held may differ, and the types of issues handled may be significantly dissimilar. Manager achieves their objectives through the establishment of an environment for efficient collaborative effort. Moreover, all managers perform management functions. On the other hand, the time consumption for every function may be different. Therefore, top level managers give more time to planning and organizing as compared to lower level managers. On the other hand, most importantly, the first line supervisors take a lot of time. The difference in the time consumption to control is different slightly for managers at different levels.
