Meg Whitney the former CEO of the eBay and the current CEO of Hewlett Packard is one of the most prominent CEO's of the current era. She is internationally recognized female CEO of the Silicon Valley. This essay defines the personal and professional life background of the Meg Whitney. Meg Whitman was born on 4th August 1956 to Hendricks and Margret Cushing in long Island New York. She was the youngest of the three children of Cushing's. Intelligent and confident Meg Whitman grew up in Cold Harbor. She passed her high school in 1974, graduated in economics from Princeton University in 1977 and from the same university earned her MBA degree in 1979. She has two sons from Griffith Harsh IV, a neurosurgeon.

The career of Meg Whitman was started in 1979 as a brand manger of Procter & Gamble in Ohio. After her marriage she shifted to San Francisco where in 1981 she joined the Bain & Company's as consultant. She worked there for long time and rose up to the Senior Vice President. In 1989 she joined the Walt Disney as the Vise President Strategic Planning. In 1993 she joined the Stride Rite Corporation but soon left and started working in Florists Transworld Delivery as the CEO.
