FIRST EVER CHINESE NEW YEAR FESTIVAL IN HAMILTON

Hamilton on 3rd January 2011: To commemorate the 4705th year of the Chinese calendar, McMaster University has organized Hamilton's first ever Chinese New Year festival on January 26th 2012. The celebration of this event is not only limited to the Chinese but is a great chance for the Hamilton's diverse community to learn more about the Chinese culture. The much anticipated event is organized by a group of first year Chinese students at McMaster with the goal of bring “joy and happiness on this special day.”
