Introduction

The paper aims to evaluate different perspectives of media and visual cultures. The content covers 4 questions that portray different features of media and visual culture being presented over the internet, in the movies, and the concepts being used over the media to portray and express the feelings of the author.

Question 1

The characters in the film Act of Valor (2012) are portrayed by active-duty U.S. Navy SEALs. Though the story is fictional, the weapons and tactics that they use are real. “Peirce's concept of the indexical quality of signs gives us another way to understand the changes taking place with digital technology. As we have noted, the power of the analogue photograph is derived largely from its indexical qualities. The camera has coexisted in physical space with the 'real' that it has photographed” (pp. 217)

While men of Platoon Bandito courageous fight to prevent a terrible attack that would endanger the lives of thousands of Americans, the soldiers are forced to separate their commitment.

Very often, the audience accused or that the film is that it is made ??under the order of the authorities. Very often, this happens even with those films, in which it does not.
