Abstract
Information and communication technology is nowadays taken as an essential ingredient for any organization to succeed in its business in every possible aspect locally and globally. ICT has no boundaries and is being applied and adopted at very fast rate in every field. All the recognized organizations all over the world have adopted ICT for achieving phenomenal success in business and they have. The positive impacts of information systems on the businesses are discussed in this research paper. To achieve the alignment between ICT and the business is the top priority. This allows the organization to have a check on their business activities over time and also makes it easy for the organization to compare its business activities and services with others in the market as their competitors. The significance of ICT alignment with the business is very significant in a lot of ways and is regarded in every unit as a key factor for success. The impacts of information and communication technology on the performance of business have been widely investigated in many researches all around the world and information systems have been declared recommended for the better business performance. The positive impacts and influence of ICT in business performance and success is discussed in detail in this research.

Introduction
There has been piling recognition of the need and significance of assessing information and communication technology assets in lining up an organization's competition ability and ability of future business performance. Increasingly the managers and top executive gentry of all the recognized firms all over the world have considered the IT implementation as the key to their organization's success. For example, Solomon bothers concluded in their report that the major difference between the banks that were going more profitable than the low profitable banks was the difference between the IT capabilities of them. The bank with more profit had implemented IT systems due to which their business was even more efficient and productive than the low profitable banks (Nolan, 1994).
The introduction of information technology in any organization provides a very significant boost to the company's productivity and enhances the consumer value of that firm. Proper use of ICT along with strong skills, efficiency, and solid innovative management can change the direction of any low going company towards the path of success (Thompson 2008). The Integrated information system helps to coordinate between the functional and organizational units, supports and enhances the decision making ability of any organization and improves the efficiency and effectiveness in providing best services and support to the local and foreign customers. In this modern era the gap between the developed and the developing countries the implementation of ICT has to be ensured, since it is the alarming feature between the socio-economic conditions of different communities.
