Why have you decided to pursue an M.B.A.? Provide details on objectives you will establish for your M.B.A. experience and contributions you will make to the UST MBA community.

There are a number of factors that contributed to my application to graduate school. The first factor is the recession. The recession has terminated many jobs in the marketplace. Those with limited skills can only go so far in the world of business. To advance in this marketplace, one must be well knowledge in business, communications and ethics. Being a college graduate is simply not enough. I have been an entrepreneur for the past seven years and I have been quite successful thus far.

Getting a Masters Degree in Business will propel me forward and will provide me the necessary skills and contacts in moving forward in the community as well in the corporate world. Organizations have trimmed jobs for less skilled workers. I needed to break away from the consistent pattern of nonsuccesses. I have a ton of sales experience, but no corporate experience. If I am going to succeed in the new economy of service related industries, I must be well prepared with the right education. The subsequent motive is economics. There are currently 27% college graduate students, 10% of graduate students and less than 2% PH.D. With each advance of graduate level, a person's income doubles in size.

The third reason is growth. We have raised the initial $20,000 off of one sales pitch, with a deeper understanding in the world of technology, we now have a clear understanding of which we are and how we will grow. Obtaining a graduate degree in business is an absolute necessity, if I am destined to be successful. This degree is the final component of my rebirth in understanding the new business model of the 21st century. Having this degree will also provide me a stronger and more rewarding career in the corporate world.

There are a number of objectives I plan on completing with my MBA degree. My first objective is to start a club or organization that will be both for technology and innovation at the University of St. Thomas. Here students will be able to utilize their surrounded communities in new media and technology.
