As a result, marvel has maintained consistency in its stories as well as characters. The main driver behind Marvel's turnaround success was a more efficient management of its assets (Davila et al., 2012). Where the company was previously known for capitalizing on “speculative frenzy among collectors”, it now refocused its efforts on the reestablishment of quality. Therefore, it is clear that Marvel's recent successes are sustainable since the market for toys and comic books has traditionally been massive (Gordon, 2007).
