This attracts the user to update their cell phones to the latest trend. However, most of us are not aware of the fact that many people throw away their cell phones and mobile, after a year, which go out of trend. People are not aware that the single battery of the mobile phone contains mercury that can pollute air and water. Most of the ground water is polluted with the mobile batteries. (Peter, 2006)

Many developing nations think that the increasing IT products are a global problem which is harming the environment. A recent study was conducted which states that production of mobile phones will be doubled by 2020, adding 1.4 billion tones of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Therefore, many companies are manufacturing environmental friendly mobile phones to protect the atmosphere. The environmental friendly mobile phones will bring revolution in the technology world and will attract more customers. Since people are becoming aware of the global issues, this product will benefit the market of Australia and its usage will tend to increase.
