Introduction

Formerly billiard and pool is the staple of American life and in recent times this game has been renaissance. Currently, in United States there are about 43 million regular pool players, and 1 out of 8 Americans deems themselves to be a billiard player. However, billiard is not a portable hobby like other. In order to play billiard require a place to practice this game and it is one of the most significant reasons why billiard and pool loses interest of people.

There is no doubt that once United States is famous for weightlifting. Many people posses a number of opinion about Olympic weightlifting but they do not known about this sport exactly what it is. In the year 2008, less than 900 women and 2,500 men got approval of USAW. On the other hand, in high school 279,000 people wrestled, and 1 out of 13 qualified for Senior Nationals in 77 kg lifters; whereas, only 1 out of 44 from high school qualified for a college squad. United States was unable to get a single weightlifting Olympic medal from 2004 to 2008. This is not because people do not take part, but because they are not familiar with weightlifting sport (Varadarajan & Menon, 1998).

A sport of road trip refers to a journey on road without taking account of stops en route. This hobby usually refers to a long distance journey by vehicle. Nowadays, road tripping is not just a vacationing mean but also a rapid growing hobby. Road enthusiasts or professional road trippers are groups committed to the road trip art. This hobby become more interesting because of technology such as multi-vehicle road trips (caravanning), dashboard that is connected to the internet, welcome sign photography, RV-ing county collection, and other many others.

The hobby of book reading has sharply decline that one day become an esoteric. The reason of decline in this hobby is the replacing leisure time activities such as television or internet that are more able to engage individuals' direct emotional level as compare to reading.

Most of people think that watching a documentary is quite boring but it is not; as well in a short period of time documentary provide a lot of information. Watching documentary has a positive effect on the life of a person because it provides an opportunity to learn new things and enhance vocabulary.

Discussion

These hobbies have a positive and significant impact on one's life; hence, there is a need to promote such hobbies. But, before commencing to promotional plan it is essential to define market or target audience.
