Introduction

Entrepreneurship tends to be interpreted as the act of being an entrepreneur whereas, the term 'Entrepreneur' tends to extract its roots from the French language where it signifies or renders to any person who identifies an opportunity and organizes the resources needed to implement the idea. This can result in the creation of new organizations, companies or may be part of revitalizing mature organizations in response to potential opportunities (Robert & Scott 2007, p.279). However, the term has been attached with the concepts of the creating additional business, but lately; the term has been extended to include activities that make the social and political culture or nature of the organization.

However, many experts tends to define 'Entrepreneurship' as the ability to identify the right time to take decisions which is eventually seen by the world as the right decision at the right time. However, the idea of Entrepreneurship tends to vary depending upon the type of organization crafted. Entrepreneurship ranges from individual projects (even those who the entrepreneur is not dedicated exclusively) to multiple major initiatives that create employment opportunities (Peter 2009, p.247). However, in the context of this paper the idea of Entrepreneurship will be analyzed based upon an individual who relentlessly chased his or her dreams in order to formulate its reality.

The Entrepreneur which will be discussed in the curse of this paper tends to be Oprah Winfrey. As she has been successfully able to cultivate many business opportunities form her production house to her magazine. Her course towards the Entrepreneurship is also appreciated by many experts as she being a woman fought relentlessly in this male dominated society to craft her own way and established her own place. Her journey will be analyzed through different perspectives in order to develop a better understanding of the subject.

Oprah Gail Winfrey is a television presenter, actress, and producer and above all a successful entrepreneur. She has been able to achieve success in every field and thus has managed to be rendered as one of the most successful entrepreneurs the world has ever seen. She has been able to win several Emmy Awards for her show The Oprah Winfrey Show. This show however, is the most watched show in the history of television and the popularity of the show stretched beyond the borders. In 2005 Forbes magazine rendered her as the most powerful women. However, the success she has seen in her life has a lot to do with the way she carries herself. Oprah Winfrey was born to a teenage single mother, during her childhood saw privations of different nature.
