The daily operations management entails numerous activities amidst which the important activities are:

Cash Handling

The most important activity of any retail store regardless of its genre or magnitude is Cash handling. The retailer will prioritize this activity and ensure that the daily cash flow is tracked in order to track the profit and the loss faced by the business on daily or monthly basis. The retail store will make use of electronic cash management/ computerized point of sale to ensure that daily sales are recorded and the revenue generated from it is noted.

Customer Service

Customers are said to be assets of any retail business and this retail business is no exception. Out business will ensure that every customer that steps out of the outlet is catered in an effective and efficient manner. There is a direct relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty, and, therefore, with the income of the organization. In order to ensure the fact that the customers are satisfied customer management at a tangible level will start the moment a customer steps into the shop. The customer will be treated with a warm smile and will be assisted throughout the shopping span in the shop. The sales representative will ensure the fact that the customer is exhibited whatever the customer asks for rather than overselling the products in terms of exhibiting products that were not required. Honest opinion will be given on the products rather than focusing on the intent of selling the product and giving out false information. Provide them with the best of quality so that the customer spreads a positive word of mouth. If the customer is not satisfied with the services, the company needs to attain their feedback, and in accordance with that feedback, the services should be improved. If the customer is satisfied, it will eventually develop brand loyalty and hence, increase the profits of the company (Teas, 1993).

Inventory and Stock Management

As a new retail business we will ensure the fact that that the inventory is management is done in an effective and efficient manner and avoid the situation of out of stocks. We will ensure the fact that we have our own warehouse so that we have the required merchandize stocked and transported whenever required. We will also ensure that the inventory is stocked safely to ensure that there is not any wearing or tearing of the clothing (Burns, 2011).
