Introduction

In this paper I will be considering a new product of Naked and Famous Denim Company. Scratch and Sniff Jeans is a unique product of the company. The product is idealized by Raspberry fragrance form the denim. The purpose of this special fragrance is to ensure that the jeans can be own for months without wasting. The fabric is specially coated with tiny scented capsules and every time when the jeans are starched it produces a raspberry fragrance. The product is one sale at the Liberty and Selfridges and the introducing price is £135. This paper is divided into four sections, in the first I will develop a questionnaire to assess the public response on the product, in the second section I will be evaluating pricing strategies of the company, in the third section I will research locations in Portsmouth for retail store and in the last section of the paper I will discuss the commutation strategies for the promotion of the brand.

The main task of pricing strategy in a market economy is to maximize profits at the planned sales volume. Pricing strategy is to provide long-term needs of consumers through an optimal combination of internal development strategy of the enterprise and the parameters of the environment in the long-term marketing strategy. Therefore, when developing pricing strategies, each company must determine for themselves its main objectives, such as maximizing revenue, prices and sales volumes of products and competitiveness, ensuring certain profitability. The structure consists of a pricing strategy and price management strategy. Pricing strategy allows an organization to define in terms of marketing the price level and price caps on certain groups of products.
