The aim of this research paper is to discuss the Marijuana. Marijuana for medicinal purposes is called the therapeutic use of drugs known as a drug. The pharmacological effects of Marijuana have recently moved into the focus of much medical research. Many studies suggest that considerable potential drug in the pain, in depression and in many diseases such as cancer, AIDS and other life threatening diseases, the use of Marijuana is often prescribed by the doctors and physicians.
Compared with other psychotropic agents, marijuana seems to lead to a strong addiction. Scientists from the U.S. argue that it is probably the source of fewer problems than tobacco or alcohol. Marijuana causes physical dependence, but there are cases of psychological dependence. In young people, often taking marijuana may experience the inability to concentrate and focus on their own goals. Regular cannabis use has some impact on memory and concentration (Goode, 2010).
Discussion and Analysis
The common perception is that marijuana is safer to smoke than cigarettes which are not confirmed in recent studies. They indicate that marijuana smoke contains more carcinogens than cigarette smoke. A person who uses marijuana becomes so prone to all kinds of diseases. In addition, it was discovered that marijuana lowers hormone levels in adolescents, and thus may inhibit sexual development of both boys and girls. Short-term effects of marijuana use are lowered body temperature, increased appetite, increased (about 50 percent), heart rate, and dry nasal ducts. Pregnant woman who smokes cannabis increases the risk that her baby will be born prematurely or will be small. For some people cannabis can cause psychosis, anxiety. The drug is consumed in excessive amounts, together with a strong alcohol or during bad mood which can cause the so-called conventions or pits, or simply a bad phase called bad trip.
