Introduction

There are many politicians that enjoy short moment in the eye of pubic and then soon they are forgotten within the span of ten years without remembering the want they did for the country. Few politicians create such a deep impression either in a good way or vice versa that they remain alive in the memory of the people even after their career has been over and even after their death. Among such politician, Margaret Thatcher is highlighted much due to its policies that she developed for betterment of the country.

She has been termed as extraordinary politician. Throughout her era as Prime Minister, the British politics has a profound &lasting effect in terms of improvement. She has altered the entire political debate rules, transformation of her party and hence changed & adjusted features of British life that has appeared permanent and fixed. Whether like or dislike, no one can be unbiased to her. What she believed in and what she stood for, no one can make a mistake in identifying it. She comprises of exceptional difference having an ideology referred after Thatcherism. She was termed as Conviction politician as well. This paper will focus on the Thatcher's substantial effect on British Politics.

State reform has become undoubtedly one of the central themes of the Century in the international context. The issue of what might be called government reform is a phenomenon that originated in the developed Western world. In Western Europe, their members can appoint Britain, Germany and France as well as the United States of America for developing a major reform process that brings about fundamental changes in their legal structures and political economy. Certainly, with greater or lesser differences, this phenomenon had important repercussions in the countries of the socialist coalition and was repeated in most of Latin America, in which Mexico played an important role model for their own region (Cannadine, 1999).

Within the reform processes that took place in Europe, the particular and special attention was the reform undertaken during the government of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. But what makes it particularly attractive reform in the UK. First it should be noted that from the beginning it was proclaimed in the interior of this country that the reform was being undertaken was the beginning of a “model” that would apply in other Western European countries and, of course, for the developed world, that is, from its origin it was considered to Britain as a great experiment.
