Othello, The Moor of Venice, by William Shakespeare, is one of Shakespeare's most well renowned tragedies. In the play, the numerous kinds of jealousy are discovered through love despise and deceit. There are two major feminine individual characteristics, in Shakespeare's Othello. Each of these women, Desdemona and Emilia, has a distinct symbolic function in the play.
