Managing Projects

Introduction

It is the key responsibility of the project manager to create a holistic shedule. Project management also known as management or project management is the discipline that guides and integrates the processes of planning, capture, streamline, organize and manage talent resources in order to complete all the work required to develop a project and meet the scope, within time limits, and defined cost: without stress and with good interpersonal climate. The project manager is a typical representative of the middle levels of the hierarchy. The estimation of project resources is a delicate transition planning because it allows to relate the work to be done with the skills and tools you need. The management of project costs implies the production of a plan or project budget .

All this requires leadership talents, continually assess and regulate the actions necessary and sufficient. Other denominations equivalent across countries: management or project management, integrated project management, etc. Management is a discipline, not an engineering tool, confusion arising of its intensive use in civil projects. (Kerzner, 2009: 149-151).

The measurement (or evaluation) of a goal can / should be assessed at the end of the project. However, a continuous active monitoring of the progress towards each objective should be monitored and evaluated periodically throughout the project. (Wysocki, 2011: 47)

The project communication , not to be confused with the communication to the client of the results of the project, a process intended to make understand the objectives and content of the project to enhance a number of different audiences and different. Eg. promote the project, its objectives and the organization that produces, at the Media (press office) at internal target (top management, financing, corporate communications, etc..) or use the values ??for the marketing company (Martin, 2010: 235).
