Introduction

Choueiri Group founded by Lebanese entrepreneur Antoine Choueiri back in 1970. Antoine Company mainly represents Media side. Company mission consist on managing advertising space of multimedia brands across 9 markets through its 12 subsidiaries network that have more than 100 executives. Choueiri group open at Lebanon when founder signed the first exclusive media representation agreement for different magazines. His successful and unique approach of business allowed him to run a fast growth to the company by adding different media products to its portfolio. After 10 years of its operation, group witness expansion of its operation to GCC countries and stipulated new agreements that allowed a company to extend its product line to encompass weekly and monthly magazines.

There are a number of factors were at the essence of the group over the years that mainly intact reputation in commitments honouring, added value that the company has been able to its stakeholders and employees.

Choueiri Group employees are playing an important role in the organization. Employees of Choueiri Group are motivated and comfortable with their jobs which is an important factor for organization success (Chiang & Birtch, 2007). This report study an in-depth analysis of Choueiri group organizational structure and determine their management practices from the perspective of employees relationships, decision making, and organizational diversity. This report will also discuss that how gender and intercultural issues are addressed at company.

Management

Managers are the people who steer the company towards meeting objectives of the organization (Budd & Mumford, 2005). Management has been described as planning, organizing, and leading and controlling organizational member's efforts by using different resources to achieve organizational goals. A Choueiri Group manager jobs it to maintain overall control of organizations and in the same way they lead, inspire and direct people. Managing director of Choueiri group with the help of other 11 managers run the company.

Organizational Structure

Departmental organizational structure has been used by Choueiri Group that has several departments who performed their respective task to be performed with certain staff taking charges of several jobs (Chegini, 2009). Organizational chart of Choueiri Group base on different departments that are:

Editorial Department

This department is responsible by the manager who is responsible for data collection, selection of news and editing news for advertisement . Editor cannot handle all the work, therefore Chief respondent, managing editors, resident editors, assistant editors and other functional are part of it. There are differing types of correspondents are also engaged news collection and supply of news to this department.

Adverting Department

This department is a major source of revenue collection for Choueiri group. The work of collection and advertisement publication has become crucial in Choueiri group. There are several sections in this department that looks after advertisement, television and radio stations.

Administrative Department

This department looks after the general administrative work that pertaining personnel their selection, allotment of work, promotion, training, maintaining a record of leave, general facilities working with other departments.
