Being a successful manager means to use the appropriate style of managerial. For instance some styles are project or product oriented and some are people oriented. Managerial styles based upon the knowledge, skills, resource availability like (money and time), task, and obviously desired results. This is manager's ability to select the managerial style as per the situation which can be handled and overcome successfully. Without focusing on managing style on specific circumstances may be the result of mistakes or slow down the work efficiency.

Problem can be anything and most of the time hard to forecast it can be an urgent accomplishment of task, activity of harassing the colleague, immediate resignation, accident of key employee or may be more serious situation. Issue and problem can be small and big one but it can be resolved swiftly on the other hand need it requires some serious action with intervention. For managing all issues, being manager you should focus that you are not alone.

Once I was involved in a situation in the hospital where the patient was prescribed medicinces to which he was allergic. After taking that medicine for a while, he called us and notified us of the allergy. We, the staff at the hospital, made sure that we update the records and make sure that it is mentioned in his file that he is allergic to medicines. After the updation of the records, the right medicines were goven to Mr. Chen by the hospital staff.

While this procedure of updation of Mr. Chen's records was going on, another patient entered the hospital and handed over his insurance card to us for registration purposes. According ot the rules and policies of the hospital, it is important for the patient to make sure that he submits his identity card, as well while completing the registration. When the other officer to accept only his insurance card, the patient got angry and started shouting. I took over the situation and made sure to explain the policies of the hospital to the patient. I guided him to the helpdesk area where he could complete the registration process.

The same day, in the evening, the same patient arrived at the clinic and complained of short breath and of rashes all over his body. The patient was hospitalized and it was made sure that treatment is given to the patient right away. He was admitted in emergency. I was not on duty, but was notified of the incident. I got very worried because I was responsible for this patient as I had carried out all the registration process. The next day when I arrived at the clinic for my duty, I made sure that I personally look into the matter. I was informed that the patient has been treated, but his insurance card is invalid and is a fraud case.
