The scope of this investigation was to assess and discuss a selection of quality management models and to select an appropriate model/s, suitable for efficiently managing the quality and performance of “Aerospace8” through its organizational development. The objective of implementing a quality management system is to improve organizational performance whilst meeting compliance with the regulatory framework and to make it environmentally sustainable. The Implementation of quality management models requires several considerations in order to achieve the desired objectives.
For the purpose of this investigation, EFQM, ISO and I.I.P. quality management models have been analyzed. Models are effective in determining the long-term objectives of the organization helping to ensure organizational success. The integration of the model would prove beneficial by ensuring all processes and aspects of the organization become and remain effective, which in turn would increase organizational significance.
This report finds that EFQM standard will be a crucial addition for the organization in order to meet new company objectives. It is also found that through using integrated management, “Aerospace8” can effectively operate its quality management operation as a single unit helping the company to improve the quality of its operations and products.
At the same time, there are several risks and costs associated with the suggested implementation. These however would be eliminated by using an effective action plan including policy statement preparation, development of quality management system, mechanism review, and delivery of program. This action plan would help to implement the integrated management system with compliance to EFQM, ISO and I.I.P. would help increase organizational significance in the market place and optimize quality procedures throughout.

The use of conformity / self assessment and its benefits will also be discussed. An action plan will be developed allowing effective decisions to be made. This will be done by identifying the costs and possible risks involved.

Such systems help to increase process control and in turn increase the significance of the business. Implementing a quality management system will increase quality assurance within the manufacturing environment.
