Question# 1

In the context of the contemporary global business environment there have been several drastic changes in the organizational structure of the business environment. The phenomenon of globalization has dynamically altered the standard operation procedures in the majority of the global companies, as these organizations now have to function in the global consumer market. The main benefit of globalization has been the enhancement in the consumer base of the organizations; however it has also made the companies highly sensitive to the volatile changes in the global business environment (Hannan & Freeman, 1984). I would also focus on developing a team based culture in the organization, as I believe that this initiative is a significant component of any improvement plan. The existence of the team entities within the organization have a significant impact on the efficiency of the decision making process and the ability of the company to identify and react to the organizational environment.
