“To explore the affect of contemporary leadership models and the application of the current leadership theories on different types of organizations”
Primary leadership theories (for profit and nonprofit organizations)
It is essential to implement leadership theories at work in order to handle employees. Leadership in the workplace has been studied since the early 1920's resulting in evolution of numerous effective leadership theories. A leader influences others to act for the sole purpose of achieving the organizational goals. Primary leadership theories include the Trait Theory, the Behavior Theory and the Contingency Theory. Current leadership theories being researched are “Transformational and Servant Leadership”.

According to the theory, these are the ability to organize a task and the ability to express consideration for subordinates.
Contingency Theory
Organizations go through changes and situations which are not feasible for the company. However, the leader must be ready with contingency plans to ensure that the organization is run well even in times of crisis. Therefore, the need of contingency plans has given birth to the contingency theory. Good leaders are always able to handle the situation properly, and this theory is being used by profit and the nonprofit companies ...
