Management is creative difficulty solving. This creative difficulty explaining is carried out through four purposes of management: designing, coordinating, leading and controlling. The proposed outcome is the use of an organization's resources in a way that accomplishes its mission and objectives (Higgins, 1994). The nature and work of administration involves competently applying these four functions to accomplish organizational success. The purpose of this paper will be to explain the four functions of management as it connects to my department. It will describe how these purposes are directed to my department, my supervisor, and my current position.
Planning is the first needed step in my department's management process, as without productive designing you will not productively coordinate, control or lead your young person employees. All grades of administration are applying these purposes in some way or form. The question is how well and how far are they doing it? There is habitually room for enhancement in any association and finding productive ways to manage is the starting of a thriving future in business.
