The report consists of the thorough analysis the business case of Information Technology Collaboration System (ITCS) of Vixbridge International Ltd. (VBI). Within an organization, Information Technology is implemented for the purpose of boosting the productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. There are several types of IT solutions, which typically include data warehouses, ERP, Office Automation and some other.

Introduction

This is an Information Technology (IT) project developed for Vixbridge International Ltd. (VBI). The main reason why VBI undertook this project is utilizing the information technology system to improve the efficiency on coordination, share decision making and decision implementation. The proposed system here were developed to assist managers to create a smart, efficient, and organized plan, complete with phases, goals, obstacles and solutions. The main objective of this project is to promote teamwork and collaboration among directors, project managers, team members, and other stakeholders can access project plans over an intranet, extranet, or the Internet.

Project Background

The Project Collaboration System (PCS) have been chosen. The main objective of this project is to promote teamwork and collaboration among directors, project managers, team members, and other stakeholders can access project plans over an intranet, extranet, or the Internet. The total cost of this project is USD 20,000 and it will take 4 months to complete the whole system. The project life cycle have six stages that include the monitoring stage, develop evaluate stage, develop specify stage, develop track stage, develop test stage, handover stage. A functional organizational structure is used for this project and this project is in implementation stage. The reason I chose this project is that this project has a project management plan and a business case.
