Overview

This paper will provide a PR plan for one of the most renowned company 'Aspire4u' which is involved in the field of event management and community interest. For this project, I focused on the Study and Train in Event Management services Aspire4u is intending to offer. The target population of this PR plan is people within the age of 18 to 24 years (www.aspire4u.co.uk) - I have prepared this plan keeping in mind the aims and objectives of Aspire4u and to ensure that it creates awareness about the STEM project among the target audiences which are youths of our country, and community organizations along with focusing the desired individuals from the community at the same time. My PR plan will help those individuals who are affected by increasing rates of unemployment and its associated issues.

Aspire4u is an Event Management Company and also a Youth Training Community Interest Company based in Digbeth, Birmingham. The Chief Executive Officer of the company is Daniella Genas. The company basically generates profit from the event management functions and utilizes the revenue for training and promoting the vocational work for young people who possess disabled backgrounds in the Community Interest Company. The company works with a philosophy of becoming a successful business along with making itself prominent in the social working enterprises. Aspire4u tends to commit itself for changing the lives of young people by providing them with the various opportunities to gain training and development through various programs (www.aspire4u.co.uk)

Aspire4u intends to start its Study and Train in Event Management program from October 2012. The basic modules selected for this program by Aspire4u includes event/project management theory, practical event/project management and personal/professional development. All the modules are designed in a manner to benefit the participants in enhancing their organizational skills, networking skills, problem solving skills and most importantly communication skills. The basic problem that Aspire4u is facing is that the company is still not able to attract its target audience in the manner it is supposed to do. My PR Program will provide the company with the more planned and systematic communication and Strategic PR plan for the purpose of reaching to their audiences in a more efficient manner (www.aspire4u.co.uk).

Project Briefing

The training program by Aspire4u intends to provide theoretical training sessions from the perspective of Event Management. Moreover, the pilot training conducted during 2010 - 2011 provided the participants to gain practical work experience by providing them with an opportunity to work on various music festivals and award ceremonies. STEM is now planning to offer training to individuals for getting to know about the world of events. The basic modules of STEM provide introduction to events and event planning, fundraising, logistics, sponsorships, event marketing and many more related aspects (www.aspire4u.co.uk).
