Time Management

Students are faced with challenges from time to time. This can lead to stress. Their potential and the possibilities are up to the maximum tested by these challenges. If students want to go all these challenges, they need skills that make things easier for them. This will ensure that they do not collapse as they go through tough times. One of the main things they need to learn is time management. Time management, no doubt, has received a widespread attention from various academic and research circles, and that is the reason why people started to discuss this important subject and think how to do efficient management of their precious time (Dodd & Sundheim, 2005, pp. 11-83). In fact, time management in its formal paradigm can be defined as an act or process of exercising mind full control over the amount of time spent to increase efficiency. It is a fact that Time management can be supported by a range of skills, tools, and techniques required to manage time in order to complete any task. It is common to see that life has become very hectic where people have realized that importance of time management can be a solution to have not only an organised but also a balanced and relaxed life. Researchers have introduced different time management strategies/ways to learn how to effectively manage time to achieve success (Griessman, 1994).

To be thriving in time management, students first have to set some goals. It might assist to split up their goals into time borders (fundamental goals, midterm goals, long-range goals), but it is not essential to manage so for the workout to be useful. In order to get started, all they require to manage is believe of a fistful of goals. Once they have a set of goals, it is helpful to shatter down the goals into manageable steps. Breaking down their goals, makes it simpler to start them with one quick step at a time, and then decrease procrastination (Griessman, 1994, pp. 56). After setting some goals, time perception and time following is the next step you should follow. It will assist individuals in organizing thier time well, if they understand where time really gets spent (Allen, 2002, pp. 32-97).

Indeed, the more responsible students chalk up this lack of time to have lost in the months or weeks before paying attention to other activities considered more interesting then. In those cases, the wise "seize the day" live for today, enjoy it thoroughly, that at exam time means "studied today and now all you can."Three weeks of exams well used, with nine or ten hours of study can give a lot of him.
