Introduction

This research will help in assisting and supervising the people suffering from severe diseases that are non-curable such as multiple sclerosis, cancer diseases etc. There are people who are suffering from severe learning disability due to severe diseases like those that are mentioned above. Due to critical health conditions these people are unable to retain their memory and therefore they are found having learning disabilities. These people face severe consequences due to their poor health. The main reason behind their poor health is the lack of attention and proper health care management.

People who are suffering from severe health issues are found unable to take care of themselves on their own therefore they require special attention that can help them in relieving their pain and agony. The care takers need to have proper trainings so that they can properly take care of these people in an effective way. It is extremely important for those people who take care of these patients to have proper trainings related to patient supervision. Patients with learning disabilities need extra attention to that they can at least relieve some of their pain. The people who are found having lack of memory retention issues or learning disabilities are those people who are often moved to old age homes and nursing homes as their families are unable to take care of them in an effective way as they require special care and attention 24/7. It is a found from the research that the people who are suffering from learning disabilities are weaker and have poor health condition as compared to the general public.

As a service manager of Mencap it is my responsibility to address the issues of the people suffering from learning disabilities as these people are enrolled or admitted in this institution to get special supervision and attention from the trained and professional people who are mainly hired to serve the people who are in their last stage of life as they are diagnosed with diseases that are critical and of severe nature. End of life care is critical for those people who are suffering from various diseases that are non-curable and those who are having learning disabilities. They are the ones who require extensive end of life care and support from all those who are in touch with them as they are unable to take care of themselves on their own. This research will help the working staff of Mencap in taking better care of the people who are enrolled in this institution and they will be able to handle the issues and queries of people connected to these people in a better way. Proper training programs need to be launched for the staff so that they can better take care of these people. The trainings will be based on complete supervision of people having learning disabilities and in their end of life care.
