Malcolm X is probably with Marcus Garvey and Martin Luther King, the black leader's most important contemporary history. Malcolm did not only have undeniable talent as an orator, but he also had a true vision of the world around him, plus he was never content with rhetoric, and always took action, and worked for its community like Nat Turner and John Brown and other blacks who, a few decades earlier had helped slaves escape from their plantation (Louis 270). At every period of his life Malcolm was sincere in everything he undertook which did not prevent complete change of direction in his ideas and his behavior when he discovered Islam or after his pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca.

Thanks to Ms. Swerling, Malcolm was enrolled in a school in Mason, thus escaping the reformatory. Recalling his stay with the couple Swerling, Malcolm wrote: "Before me, they talked about everything and nothing, as they say anything to her canary. They even spoke to me, or niggers, as if I was not there, like I did not understand the meaning of the word. But it was not out of malice ... they do them never occurred to me that I could understand that I was not a dog, but a human being. "
In high school Mason White, Malcolm quickly distinguished himself by brilliant results, particularly in literature and history. He decided to leave high school without regret to ...
