Introduction

In this paper, we would attempt to discuss and analyse the major themes of sexuality and female grace as portrayed by Tom Inglis in his recently published book Making Love: A Memoir (2012). The book entails a detailed account of the author's life and how he amassed awareness on sexuality and relationships. The novel makes a good read and makes the reader question some of the most common stigmas in contemporary society. It allows the readers' to associate with their core desires and understand the motive behind their thoughts and actions.

The author; Tom Inglis was born and raised in Dublin. Ever since childhood, Tom acted like an adult. It was primarily because he grew up in a white collar-neighbourhood and attended de La Salle College where his instructors furnished him with a decent training. After he finished school in 1968, he headed off to Spain and France for a year. At that focus he came to UCD and did his BSocSc. Tom Inglis hitched Aileen soon in the wake of graduating. They had three children, Arron, Olwen and Luke (who passed after the nine months).
