Introduction

Cancer is not one single disease, but the name used to identify hundreds of diseases with the same general characteristics. There are many underlying causes and treatments. The common characteristic of cancer is the occurrence of uncontrolled division and proliferation of abnormal cell types. Cell proliferation is normal and essential process that occurs in the body, in most tissues and organs takes constant exchange cell, while that old and worn out cells die and are replaced by new ones. However, in the case of cancer, for reasons not fully understood, the cell is transformed and loses control normal cell right over its own function and proliferation. 

Such a "renegade" - cancer cell-causes the normal supervision of the exchange goes awry cell: cell proliferation is no longer offset by the loss of comparable speed. Modified tumor cells accumulate and cannot perform normal cell functions from which are derived (Weeks, et. al., 2012, pp. 1616-25). Like other organs cancer distinguishes two forms of lung cancer. It may be primary, growing in the lung tissue and airways, or secondary, the primary lesion occurred in another organ, and then there has been a lung metastasis. There are two main types of lung cancer. One is adenocarcinoma, which develops in the bronchus; it usually grows slowly and is highly malignant. The second type is a derivative of bronchopulmonary cancer people "cancer of smokers", very mischievous, observed more frequently. Its main cause is smoking. Other causative factors to air pollution, especially by coal smoke. Some types of work, such as working with asbestos and mining some ores, a factor of increased risk of cancer.
