Introduction

I love my profession as it is just not about me but others. I am dedicated to give care and love to others as a registered nurse. I am practicing this field for 8 years and, I always want to do that. Today, I work for VNSNY as a case manager in a health care organization.

My duty is to ensure that all the clients get quality health care and, it's all about maintaining love and trust in relationships. In order to establish trust with patient, I always try to get into the personal life of patient because, in this way patients trusted me. I am not only focusing their physical fitness but also mental and social concerns. I am keen to my tasks followed by active listening, understanding of patients' issues, respect, knowledge and leadership.

I also know about the competition in the market and, always try to apply for better opportunities and with the purpose to heal people with care (Alarcon, 1998). I have done several certifications as certified gerontological nurse, certified case manager. I also did my masters in nursing and public health. In order to apply for internship in large health care organization, I have searched a lot through internet and, improve my skills to follow the competition. The grades I receive are the part of my high school transcript which is the important part of the documents which I send to the organizations when they demand. In order to get into the health care, I have always studied the subjects of science (Alarcon et al, 1998). I have researched my options; as in order to be a registered nurse, I have complete four year bachelors course from community college which is also a technical center. I never focus on my financial issues and manage to cover all my education in four just for the sake to enter into this profession. The second option, I got after completing my bachelors was to meet numerous nurses working in health care organizations to help me in getting internship. I have told them what I have learned and, what I can do while working in their organizations. My major aim was to sustain a love and care relationships with clients which was the philosophy of nursing in my point of view. I have also visited the board in order to avail any present opportunity because; I do not want to get out of the competition (Boaden et al, 2005). I have found that several boards have their own websites which provide facility for applicants to apply online. I am also registered at several websites of these boards which offer jobs time to time. I always focus on the theory of Jean Watson which consists of ten critical steps of care and love for patients (Alarcon et al, 1998).
