Introduction

The deployment of E-R Model for managing the extensive database of company yields successful outcomes. However, it is now required to normalize the entire database of the company to 3NF. This approach is criticized based on the constrained nature of the system that would not be providing flexibility of entering data into the database anymore. Therefore, this paper includes the concept of normalization and the possible problems of data redundancy. The paper also discusses the transformation of the database into first normal form, second normal form, and third normal form.
