This research analyzes the effects of educational technology on students' achievement; school overall climate, and its cost efficacy. This research categorically expounds that what part role educational technology have on a school setting. An enormous amount of funds have been spent on the educational technology for K-12 teaching and learning environment. During the last decade around $ 1.25 million was spent on it under the umbrella of Technology literacy challenge fund. The research found positive relations amongst the variables and educational technology (Kmitta & Davis, 2004).
Research Questions
The study had the following three questions:
What is the effect of educational technology on students' achievement?
What is the effect of educational technology on overall climate of the school?
What is the effect of educational technology on cost efficacy in the context of our national school?
Hypothesis
The hypothesis of the study is testing through various methods of statistics including the correlation. The correlation of the study was found to be strong. This relationship was moderately strong for the General Science category but it was very weak for chemistry and biology. It was concluded that the academic category of math 0.76 effect sizes and other subjects' category had 0.80 effect size.
Null Hypothesis
There is a positive effect of educational technology on students' achievement.
There is a positive of effect of educational technology on overall climate of the school.
There is a positive effect of educational technology on cost efficacy in the context of our national school.
Alternate Hypothesis
There is a negative effect of educational technology on students' achievement.
There is a negative of effect of educational technology on overall climate of the school.
There is a negative effect of educational technology on cost efficacy in the context of our national school.
