Improving clinical instruction: comparison of literature

Introduction

Problem Statement

Radiologic technology and athletic training in the clinical education are both the same.

Background study

Clinical education is a critical element of the training procedure for both radiological technology and athletic training pupils. In the clinical adjusting, pupils are allowed for on the chance to actively exercise skills instructed in the didactical environment. Clinical teachers besides the clinical place itself, determine the succeeded of the informative know how for students.

The factors of a clinical site selection are usually based on such as location, and willing to let students. 2 Selection is not necessarily based on the quality of teaching clinics can provide opportunities, but also staff available. 3 However, the clinical site must have the support of staff and patient enough to provide adequate case to students. 4 Learning opportunities, in addition, the CIS a responsibility to teach and evaluate students appropriately in the clinical environment is important.

The purpose of this paper is to review and compare radiology technology and related sports literature clinical education and training (Giordano, 2008).

Hypothesis

Radiologic technology and athletic training in the clinical education are not the same.

Methodology

The type of study that has been used in this research is qualitative study as this study is based on the understanding and comparison of the two parts of the clinical education, namely radiologic technology and athletic training. This is a complete theory based study which only includes theory as the whole study is conducted from past data which is a form of secondary source and that data is used to carry out this study. This study can also be included in a type of research that is called the historical study

This thesis includes literature, published from 1998 to 2006, related to improving the undergraduate clinical radiology technology education and sports training experiences. PubMed and ProQuest databases are used to perform the review of the literature. This means that secondary data has been used in this research study. No data has been collected directly from the respondents which mean that there is no population or sample size available in this research. As the data has been collected from previous researches the result of this study cannot be considered to be accurate because the past results might not apply and might not be accurate in respect to this particular time period.

Keyword that was searched for the literature included the following: "Clinical Teacher"," clinical instructor evaluation athletic training clinical education ","allied health programs and evaluation, Radiation of clinical education ","Evaluation of clinical teaching. "The final review Publications, including those specifically discussed or clinical radiology technology education or training of clinical teachers in education programs or sports.

Results

In student performance clinical environment is directly related to the quality the time and spread. Certificates of Indebtedness is effective in teaching they must have good communication skills, and able to distinguish between different types of students styles.
