Almost every child of human gets succeeded in learning language from its surrounding and biological organs. Humans have two stimulating organs which actively work in the beginning of children understanding. God has bestowed the “organs of language” and also gifted the “organs of vision” for becoming a rationale power of the world. It should be observed that language starts moulding in children from the very beginning of their infancy. Acquisition of language takes place in childhood as children learn to speak, see and walk by taking help from their surroundings. Moreover, progress in the research of cognition and language provide mounting integrity to the vision that the knowledge of children and their natural language comes from the biological capacity to the species.
The identification of this ability for developing a regular growth seems more appropriate to speak about the knowledge of language. It has been observed that the learning of language has come from the collective capacity instead of common mechanism of training, which is supported by different institutions of society. Every child displayed in a fixed ways of linguistic knowledge statistics which maintains a rich and complete capacity that fundamentally harmonise the surrounding of community. It has been researched that different efforts of teaching languages to other species have been failed. The key concept makes it arguable that language comes from biological components which are quite similar to other organism's structure. In this sense, the organ of language is considered as a functional process. The paper is designed to highlight different theories that govern 'organ of language' in comparison to 'organ of vision'. It will entirely focus on the concept that do children copy the language around them or is it born inside because they have a specialised organ of Language and in the same way we think about an organ of vision?
Theories of Language Development
There are some theories serving the purpose of linguistic development. The theories promote and explain the learning perspective. Learning perspective claims that the process of learning starts from the very early stage as children copy all the actions as they see and observe. The sharp observation power of the children allows them to imitate what they see and hear and learn through punishment and reinforcement
In linguistic development the work of B.F skinner is most dominant and recognized. Skinner suggest that adults play vital role in the shaping the speech of the children by reinforcing the babbling of infants that sound most like words.Skinner believed on idea that language is acquired through principles of conditioning, including association, imitation, and reinforcement.
This view claims that children learn through the sounds of the objects, certain action they see and observe and event happening around them. The major portion of learning in children is done through imitation. Adults made their children learn words and syntax by reinforcing correct
