According to Nelson Jagero (2011) males use code switching more as compared to females. This happens when both the genders communicate with each other. According to the author, he conducted a survey according to which the combined chat groups two out of three, more men used the code switching as compared to women. When both the genders were not combined together, it was found that females use the switching code more as compared to men. Further, it was found that the females tend to use the official and non-standard language when they mix with the men speakers.

Mixed language in different domain by Male & Female

From the above graph, it is clear that 44.44% of men in daily life mix launguages in different domains, as comapred to 48.15% of women in daily life. Socially, 48.15% of men mix launguages in different domains as compared to 37.04% of women. Religiously, 22.22% men mix launguages in different domains as compared to 14.81% women. While using text messaging, 3.7% men mix launguages in different domains as compared to 3.7% women when texting. Utilizing social network, 29.63% men mix launguages in different domains as compared to 14.81% women while using social networks.

Male Mixed with Male & Female

The above graph represents that 66.67% male when mixed use code switching more as compared to women. in this case, 31.03% women use switch coding more. Therefore, it can be said that code switching is used by males more as compared to the females and their friends. It has been found that when male are mixed with male and female, they use more switch coding as compared to the females.
