Introduction

The level of competence of students is measured, described and compared on the basis of different standards. At the same time it is important to identify factors that help to explain the differences: why a class obtains better results than another? There is a relationship between socioeconomic background and performance? There are differences between pupils and students (Cole, & Griffin, 1987). It is imperative to understand how contextual factors affecting the operation of the class. Factors in the education context are characteristic of the learning area that influences the effectiveness of the instruction. This paper includes the lesson plans for 30 students with different contextual backgrounds that differentiate instruction and assessment.

Socioeconomic

Socioeconomic factors play an important role in the administration of the class. In fact, the family income is directly correlated to the quality of education a child receives. Because U.S. schools are funded primarily by local property taxes, students who live in affluent areas tend to have better academic performance as students of poorer areas are more likely to have difficulty even leave. Students from low-income families are also more likely to be the object of neglect and abuse, which can manifest in erratic behavior in class (Cavey, & Berenson, 2005).

Geographical

The geographical location of a school can be urban, suburban or rural. The site where a school is located affects the culture and values ??of their students and therefore their behaviors. For example, suppose that you teach in a rural school and ask a misbehaving student to stay after school. The student may rebel without a valid reason apparent, however, is not telling her parents have to get home on time at 14:30 each day to help with farm chores (Lewis, 2004).

Ethnic

The racial and ethnic composition of a class can drastically affect classroom management. In classes with mixed breeds, students may harbor prejudices inherited from their parents and can be used offensive language when referring to students of other races other than their own, students who are recent immigrants or the children of immigrants are eligible for stereotype or verbal abuse, especially those who do not speak English well.

Class

The physics class itself can impact on classroom management. The age of the building and decoration on the walls can subliminally influence on students' beliefs about their value. The location of the class in the building can affect the behavior of students (Lewis, 2004).
