It is beyond debate that children make the best learners. This is so because they are inquisitive and take deep interest in whatever comes in front of them. The various courses and short term exercises for the cognitive development of children are designed in the United States of American in accordance with the Florida Department of Education. The lesson plan presented in this paper is aimed at children who are at their prekindergarten year (Feist, 2009). They may be four year olds. The lesson plan has been designed to address all the five domains of development. This is very much possible if the teacher or the instructor follows the lesson plan and integrates the concepts. The lesson will be taking place for 5 days. Each day there will be a 2 hour session. This is to say that there are total 10 hours that the teacher will be able to spend time with her students and achieve the objectives of the lesson plan (Ajzen & Fishbein, 2009).
