The paper would discuss the legislation which is considered as most important in defining the rights of management and unions. Labor Union is considered as an organization which helps the workers to negotiate on their working conditions and wages with employees. This bargaining process results in a labor contract which is considered as a written contract which remains in effect for a certain amount of time (Lipset, Katchanovski, 2001).
